Contract welding — laser welding and TIG as contract work

Small parts in stainless steel, high-temperature steel and nickel-based alloys · prototype to small series · made in Hanau

GHI has been making temperature sensors since 1970 — and welds sheathed tubes, measuring tips, sleeves, thermowells and flanges every day for them. We pass this manufacturing expertise on as contract work. If you have a part that is too small, too thin-walled or too delicate for the usual contract welder, you have come to the right place.

Processes

Laser welding
Fine, narrow seams with low heat input. For thin-walled tubes, sleeves and components that must not distort.
WIG (TIG)
For larger cross-sections, tube-to-flange joints and weld-on parts.
Micro welding
Wires, sheathed elements and the smallest parts in the tenth-of-a-millimetre range — the technique we use to join thermocouples and measuring tips.

Materials

Stainless steels
1.4571, 1.4541, 1.4404 and related austenitic grades
High-temperature steels
1.4841, 1.4762, 1.4749
Nickel-based alloys
Inconel 600 (2.4816)

Range of parts

Small parts up to about hand size: tubes, sleeves, sheets, wires and small assemblies. Single pieces and prototypes as well as small series. We will check other materials and larger parts on request.

How an enquiry works

Send us a drawing, a sketch or a sample. We will tell you whether and how the part can be joined, and quote a price and delivery time. For tricky geometries we weld a sample part first.
