Spring clip, bracket and mini thermocouple plug
Sliding thermocouple for brake disc temperature in road testing. A spring clip presses the sheathed measuring tip Ø 0.5 mm onto the rotating disc; the contact pressure is set with a screw and lock nut on the bracket. The bracket is fixed with a Ø 5 mm bore to the backing plate or brake caliper.

Mounting on the vehicle
The bracket is fixed with a Ø 5 mm bore to the backing plate or the brake caliper. The spring clip guides the measuring tip onto the friction surface of the disc; with the screw and lock nut on the bracket you set the contact pressure — firm enough for reliable contact, light enough for low wear.
The measuring tip is a sheathed thermocouple Ø 0.5 mm and therefore reacts very quickly. The grounded version is faster still, the isolated one less sensitive to interference voltages from the vehicle's electrical system.
Cable length, sensor length and connector type are freely selectable; enter special lengths in the configurator under "Specify length".
