TBF-90 — right-angle bayonet thermocouple

Bayonet sensor with a mineral-insulated sheathed element bent through 90° at the factory directly above the bayonet cap. The cable therefore runs flat along the extruder barrel, the die or the tool – ideal where heater bands, covers or panelling sit above the measuring bore. A compression spring and bayonet cap press the conical tip against the bottom of the bore with a defined force; the crimp stop holds the cap in position. A metal protective hose guards against mechanical damage at the transition to the connecting cable.
