A multipoint thermocouple combines up to 30 measuring points in a single installation. Instead of thirty nozzles, thirty sensors and thirty cables, one element sits in the reactor and delivers the complete temperature profile over the height — crucial in fixed-bed reactors, where the reaction zone moves.

Multipoint thermocouple for recording temperature profiles over the height of reactors and tanks. As a sheathed multipoint in a thermowell (version R) or as a multi-stage thermocouple with a flange, in which the individual elements are pressed against the thermowell wall and can be replaced during operation (version F).

Technical data
What we need for the enquiry
A multipoint is always a special design. These five details are enough for a reliable quotation:
- Number of measuring points and thermocouple type
- Overall length NL and position of the first measuring point L1 from the flange
- Spacing of the measuring points — even or as a list
- Process connection: flange standard, material, pressure and temperature rating
- Connection housing and length of the compensating cable
Uneven spacing, special materials and other thermocouple types are possible — please state them in the enquiry as a special version.
